Meatloaf For Monday Dinner

Meatloaf
-->
This is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. I’m a carnivorous and I love meat if it is well I’m there. This is also a dish that is versatile. Why? Because it can be serve with vegetables, pasta, rice, bread, or anything you wish for. Here is my recipe of a family meatloaf.
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup of soy sauce
  • 1 cup of ketchup
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 big carrot, chopped
  • ½ Italian breadcrumbs
  • Italian sausage, without casing
1.     Heat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
2.     Combine the chopped onion, celery, chopped carrot, lightly beaten eggs, and half of the soy sauce (reserve the rest)
3.     Combine the beef and sausage and crumbs until well blended. Mix in the chopped vegetable mixture, the egg, half of the ketchup, and salt and pepper. Using hands, mix ingredients until blended.
4.     In a small bowl, combine the rest of ketchup with the rest of the soy sauce, reserve.
5.     Pack into the greased loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes (drain of the grease), top meatloaf with the ketchup and soy sauce mixture and bake for another 15 minutes.
