Book Tuesday: Harvesting the Heart by Jodi Picoult

Paige doesn't have many memory of her mother, who left when Paige was five. She finds herself leaving her father with whom she is very close, to search for her dream of going to art school.

Paige meets Nicholas, an ambitious young surgeon and falls in love with him.  Nicholas and Paige get marry against his parents wishes. Paige become a mother shortly. After giving birth to her son, Paige begins to question her abilities as mother and wonders if things might've been different had she grown up with her mother around. This prompts a search for her mother in the hopes of answering the questions that burn deep inside Paige's heart.

Harvesting the Heart is a well grafted story about self-discovering, forgiveness, motherhood and acceptance that any mother or child should read.
