Bread Pudding |
3 to 4 cups of bread
4 ½ cups of evaporate milk
3 eggs
½ teaspoon of cinnamon in powder
½ teaspoon of clover in powder
½ teaspoon of ginger in powder
½ cup of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
½ cup of raisins
¼ cup of water
½ teaspoon of salt
1.
Take one cup of milk and mix with the 3 eggs,
reserve for later
2.
Take about ¼ cup of sugar and ¼ of water and
place in a saucepan over a medium heat; let the sugar dissolves until it looks
like syrup. Cover the baking dish with syrup mixture before it gets cold.
3.
Put the remaining milk into a pot to boil and
add cinnamon, clover, ginger, salt and what’s left of the sugar and salt. When
boiling add butter, raisin, and bread.
4.
Make sure the bread is cooked, let it cool.
5.
When cool add the egg mixture to the bread
mixture and place in the baking dish. Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes in a
375-Fahrenheit degree oven.
